This colourful tile mosaic which wraps around all four sides of the building helped to transform Elwick Community Centre, a building which was formerly graffiti ridden. It is now a source of pride in the community- a sort of reclaimed space.
This project was completed with sponsorship by the Winnipeg Arts Council. Shown in is photo are the South and West walls. The sign on the door is also done in a glass tile mosaic.
