Artist Freya Olafson provide the following comments:

Created by Kevin & Freya Olafson this Mural, located on Polson School in Elmwood, depicts the cycle of the seasons. The Mural was conceived with input from the students and staff of the school, residents of the neighbouring seniors home, the schools greening committee, and parents of the youth of Polson School. Along the borders are birds, animal tracks, snowflakes and leaves as stenciled silhouettes completed by all students and staff from the school. Thank you to Graffiti Art Programming Inc. for facilitating such a wonderful project complementing the newly developed green space of Polson School.
