Each year, we lose some good outdoor art in Winnipeg. For the year indicated, here's a
last look at, a last goodbye to some of the artwork that has disappeared that year.
1825 Main Street
This Mural for Midland Appliance was one of 3 rendered by Susan Mitchell in the early 1990's for the three Midland Appliance locations. Each of the 3 had a varying depiction on the Lonely Maytag Repairman theme and ad campaign. This one was done in 1990, and has a not half-bad portrait of Gordon Jump, the original lonely Maytag repairman. It was painted over in 2006 with the arrival of a newer tenant.
