Each year, we lose some good outdoor art in Winnipeg. For the year indicated, here's a last look at, a last goodbye to some of the artwork that has disappeared that year.

   This artwork was rendered by Graffuti Arts Programming artists that included Mike Corrain, Melissa Honke and Vincent Shorting in 2001. Sponsorship was provided by Graffiti Arts Programming, Take Pride Winnipeg, Neigbourhoods Alive, City of Winnipeg and Winnipeg Foundation. It was removed in 2022 after 21 years at this location.

Steve Wilson (Graffiti Art Programming): "This is a small Mural that was supposed to depict the old York Boats and the settlers and going up and down the Red River. The lead artist was Mike Corrain. He is a graduate of Fine Arts at one of the universities in Montreal. He worked with Vincent Shorting and Melissa Honke who were the junior artists. He would have loved to have seen it a little bigger, as it kind of looks a little out of place on that big wall, but we're hoping to add to it sometime in the future."
