Sponsorship was provided by Graffiti Arts Programming, Take Pride Winnipeg, Neigbourhoods Alive, City of Winnipeg and Winnipeg Foundation. It was removed in 2022 after 21 years at this location. Original notes follow:===
Steve Wilson (Graffiti Art Programming): "This is a small Mural that was supposed to
depict the old York Boats and the settlers and going up and down the Red River. The
lead artist was Mike Corrain. He is a graduate of Fine Arts at one of the universities in
Montreal. He worked with Vincent Shorting and Melissa Honke who were the junior
artists. He would have loved to have seen it a little bigger, as it kind of looks a little out
of place on that big wall, but we're hoping to add to it sometime in the future."
