This rendering for Richmond Kings Community Centre was done by Paul Ullrich with Acadia Junior High Students in 1997, with sponsorship by Take Pride Winnipeg and General Paint. The building exterior was completely repainted in 2010.

Original notes follow:

Paul Ullrich: “I worked with Acadia Junior High School students; they were good group. Although this was my own design and rendering, these were very simple, childlike drawings because they were done for the children. We were finished in two weeks and it was kind of party like atmosphere. This was after their exams, the teachers brought bagels and we had a picnic everyday! There was music, it was on ground level, and it was very pleasant. We had a lot of fun with that, there was a big party afterwards for the grand opening of the Mural and I was like the guest of honour! It was just a marvellous time and I enjoyed it very much.”
