This beautiful artwork for the West End Cultural Centre was rendered by Larry Spittle in 1990. This unique front face imagery over the years became synonymous with the very identity of WECC and its many happenings and events inside. In 2009, the building was completely revamped, modernized and expanded southward along Sherbrook. In September of 2010, after the expansion was completely finished, the front of the building was given a a completely new look, necessitating the loss of the original artwork, which was still in good condition. We were very sad to see it go, all the same.
