'One Great Shepherd'
"Hair sheep grow both long and short hair appearing imperfect and inconsistent. Their every need is taken care of by their shepherd despite their undesirable appearance." This scene was photographed from the Hrabarchuk farm in Kenville, Manitoba and later painted in the artist’s home studio. Collard-Wiebe received an honorable mention in the “Growing for Tomorrow” juried art exhibition that traveled across Manitoba and throughout several other provinces . The image was printed in calendars, exhibition brochures, and most recently in cards designed by the Manitoba Teacher’s Society.
